Two golden retrievers keep falling for their owner’s pretend treats

Two golden retrievers sit on a kitchen floor with their faces tipped up, while their owner tries a small experiment on them. The words over the clip spell out the plan: “Pretending to give my dogs treats till they notice 😂”

It starts out honest. A tray of real treats sits on the counter, and in the first few handoffs a small piece is visible between their owner’s fingers. Then the pinches keep coming, and in the later rounds there’s no treat to be seen. The goldens take each one anyway, mouths closing gently around the fingertips, first one dog and then the other.

The part worth replaying comes right after. Between rounds, both goldens dip their heads toward the floor, the redder one nosing along by the cabinets, before looking straight back up at the hand. One viewer caught the same thing: “They looking dwn after every bite like “I am dropping my shit❓”😂”

Other viewers had their own takes. “Bro on the left didn’t question it once,” one commenter wrote. Another had already named the snack: “I call them air berries 🥰”

As the clip ends, the redder golden is still sitting there with its eyes on that pinched hand. “Im home alone wayyyy to much clearly,” wrote their owner, @kaeetiee.
