“The Staffy vocabulary is very limited, but PARK is fluent.”
Shelby is sprawled on the blanket with his ears pinned flat, pouring out a high little whine like the afternoon is already ruined. Then his person says park.
The second that word lands, those rose ears lift off his head and fan outward. The whining cuts. His eyes go wide. Suddenly the blue Staffy on the bed looks ready to run a marathon.
His person at @shelby_the_bluestaffy wrote that his ears went from 0 to 100 the second she said park. One minute he’s sooking like his life is over, she shared. The next he’s ready to bolt.
On the clip itself, the joke lands even sharper: “POV: You mention the park and suddenly his ears have Wi-Fi.”
He may not keep a huge vocabulary. But park? That one comes through loud and clear.
