"Apparently, Home Depot isn’t just a place to shop anymore… it’s where Richie goes to catch up with his favorite people."
Halfway down a Home Depot aisle, Richie locks onto a neon-yellow shirt and an orange apron he already knows. The young Rottweiler’s walk turns sharp and purposeful, leash going taut as he drifts toward his favorite employee like the hardware store just opened a VIP lane.
The greeting is all soft approaches and happy noise — then Richie’s back end gives him away, swinging so hard the reunion needs no caption. Once he’s close enough, he plants himself, looks up, and offers a paw like the treat aisle is a formal negotiation.
@richie.the.rottweiler’s human put the errand in perspective. “Apparently, Home Depot isn’t just a place to shop anymore… it’s where Richie goes to catch up with his favorite people,” they wrote. They added the part every dog owner already guessed: “One familiar face, one very happy Rottweiler, a whole lot of wiggles, and of course… treats are always part of the deal!”
By the end, Richie has his paw in and what looks a lot like a standing appointment. “Pretty sure this friendship is becoming a regular appointment,” his person shared — which, judging by the wiggles, is exactly how Richie scheduled it.
