“My kids officially share room now.”
Mostly has a favorite room in the house, and it is not his. The cream Goldendoodle plants himself outside the kids’ bedroom, tail wagging, eyes locked on the handle like the door is just being difficult.
At @mostlythedoodle, that daily stakeout finally got the warmest possible answer. His mom could see how badly he wanted to be in there with his little humans — so she stopped guarding the doorway and started decorating for a third roommate.
She hung his portrait between the bunny prints on the wall and set a soft round bed on the rug. Mostly checked the new frame with a pleading look, then dropped into his corner like he had always belonged there.
His mom put the new arrangement in one line: “My kids officially share room now.”
One commenter wrote, “Mostly is the mostly cutest dog ever ❤️,” while another hoped the fluffy new roommate had negotiated fair terms for bedtime.
Either way, the kids’ room now has a monogrammed bandana on the floor plan — and Mostly looks very sure the wait was worth it.
