Daytime rain at the open door is enough to send Star, Wally, and foster puppy Ouija looking for the closest warm lap.
Rain is already falling when Star and Wally plant themselves at the open front door — two Pit Bulls from @wally_the_pit staring out at a grey, wet afternoon with their person. She wrote that a crazy storm had come through, and before long the whole pack had piled into the bathroom, foster puppy Ouija tucked in with them.
Turns out all was well. Star and Wally were excited to be in an enclosed space away from the rain and closer to being in her skin.
Wally is the steady house dog in that pile. Star is the foster beside him, and Ouija is the little one filling the frame in a green sweater. The dogs who want nothing to do with the rain are suddenly thrilled to glue themselves as close as physics allows — and their person is right there under the pile.
