Their person called it “the kinda greed they mention in the Bible.” The other Doberman had her own answer.
Their person bought a 4XL dog bed so the two Dobermans at @zakiyathedobie would have one spot big enough for both of them. The red Doberman took one look at all that gray fluff and decided it was hers. Head up, front legs stretched across the cushion, she settled in like the paperwork had already cleared.
Her black-and-tan housemate didn't wait for an invitation. First came a nose over the edge, then a lean, then a full climb onto the bed, and the red one answered with a wide-open mouth and a lot of wrestling.
It looks like a brawl for about three seconds. Then you notice the airplane ears, the bouncing, and the way neither of them ever actually leaves the bed. "Love it when they do that airplane ears," one viewer wrote.
Their person's verdict on the red one was short: "the kinda greed they mention in the Bible." One Doberman owner recognized it right away: "I'm tellin' you, every Doberman is an only child - no matter how many you adopt."
By the end, the black Doberman is stretched out on the bed after all, pressed right up against the red one. The red one peeks up at the camera from the middle of the pile, not looking one bit sorry. All that room, and they still end up in a pile.
