How many tricks can a 3kg dog learn? Bingo's owner answered in one clip, then admitted she may have gone too far. She's been training the Maltipoo since he was a puppy, and posts tutorials for most of his tricks.
The question on screen is simple: how many tricks can a 3kg dog learn? Bingo's owner answers with a list, and Bingo works through it trick by trick. Paw, high five, spin left, spin right, catch, bring it, clean up his toys, play dead, hold, and finally "burrito", which ends with him rolled up in a blanket with just his face showing.
I think I accidentally taught him too many tricks
That was her caption on the TikTok from @maltipoobingo, posted in mid-October.
The list didn't appear overnight. Her YouTube channel, Bingo The Maltipoo, has a video called "WE GOT A PUPPY | Bringing Home Our Dream Toy Maltipoo". When it went up in March 2025, its description said Bingo was four. The channel is mostly short how-to clips: teaching a dog to back up, leave it, hold an object, play peek-a-boo, roll over and tidy away his toys. There's also one titled "The first 18 tricks my mommy taught me."
The burrito, the trick that closes the TikTok, has its own tutorial:
His owner has also turned the routine into a 28-page PDF, "Bingo's Guide to 20 Dog Tricks", sold on Gumroad for $13.99. The listing says it includes step-by-step instructions, links to private video tutorials and "my best tips from training Bingo since he was a puppy."
A Maltipoo is a cross between a Maltese and a Poodle, not a recognized breed, so there's no breed standard to consult. The two parent breeds do score differently on the American Kennel Club's trainability scale. The AKC's Poodle page rates Poodles 5 out of 5 and says Poodle puppies "are eager to please and easily trained" and "thrive on the challenge of learning new tricks." The Maltese page gives the Maltese a 3. A mixed-breed dog can take after either parent, though, and no rating explains a list this long. His owner's own explanation is more ordinary: she has been training him since he was a puppy.
The tidy-up trick is the one most people would actually want at home.
