Her babies all found families. She is still waiting for hers.
One by one, her four puppies walked out with new families. Trina stayed behind.
At @peggyadamsarl, the Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League team wrote that Trina raised four beautiful puppies at the shelter. Every one of them found a home. A hundred days later, their mom was still waiting for hers.
They titled the post "Mom left behind." In the caption, they said she is just as adorable, loving, and worthy as her babies — but no one had noticed her yet.
Trina is listed as a grey American Bulldog mix, about five years old and 49 pounds on her adoption page. Staff call her fun-loving, silly, and affectionate. She knows her commands, loves treats, and is ready to be someone's BFF. Because she has been a longtime resident, her adoption fee is waived under Peggy's Picks, and she is also available through Foster-to-Adopt.
If you are near West Palm Beach, you can meet her at Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League. The team is hoping she gets the same chance her puppies already got — a family that chooses her and stays.
