Fancy Stays on the Couch While Dad Works Near Midnight

In early July, a Good Samaritan found Fancy at a home in California City after the people she belonged to had moved away. She was pregnant, and it was over 100°F outside.

They do not know how long she waited there, or whether she had food or water. She spent nearly two months in rescue. Her new family brought her home on August 30.

It was almost midnight, and Dad was still working. Fancy could have been asleep in her bed. She sat on the couch and watched him from across the room. She did not whine, and she did not ask to play.

Fancy has lived with @fancy.the.dawg for just over a month. When he stays up, she stays.
