Water just hits different when it's part of an art project.
Mack the Great Dane leaned his head over a glass patio table and dipped his tongue straight into a small water bowl.
His owner had set up an outdoor afternoon craft station, laying down a black plastic trash bag to protect the table alongside a row of numbered paint pots and a single paintbrush. But Mack had zero interest in canvas art. The moment he spotted the shallow rinse cup filled with fresh water, all household manners went right out the window.
In the clip shared by @itsmackandme, on-screen text lamented, “Trying to have a hobby when you have a Great Dane.” Every time his owner pushed his massive chin away, Mack politely waited half a second before diving right back in. “Really glad he’s taken an interest in the arts,” she quipped in the caption.
As reported by DogTime, viewers instantly recognized the classic canine logic of ignoring the pristine water bowl on the floor in favor of anything forbidden:
For anyone living with a Great Dane, Mack’s stubborn hydration habit is just another dose of daily humor. Some dogs help with projects, and others just make sure your paintbrushes stay thoroughly pre-rinsed.
